The Brand Impact Award is given to companies that have shown a commitment to investing in the education of the next generation of outdoor leaders and advocates from diverse communities and backgrounds.
We are honored to recognize Patagonia for their invaluable support of our programs. Patagonia’s support over the last decade has helped us build our Adventure & Design lab, which is a unique space where we design, create and repair outdoor gear. Patagonia’s generous donations of used gear has allowed us to teach our students to repair and refurbish winter apparel and provide thousands of necessary jackets for our students, their families and the larger community. In addition, through Patagonia’s support we created the Climate Change Quilt. These projects have taught our students the importance of making their voices heard, as well as the value of sustainability.
